Let’s face it – keeping a consistent training schedule is pretty challenging. If you’re a full-time athlete, then obviously, you have a lot more control over your time. But if you have a day job, a business or even if you coach, then sticking to a routine can be difficult.
It’s easy to take recovery for granted, especially when you feel you’re at the top of your game. If you’re a casual CrossFitter, an hour of working out is roughly 5% of your day and a dedicated athlete may train two or three times a day for an hour, which is 10–15% of the day.
Some athletes would prefer working out at home for various reasons, the main one being that doing a workout from home enables those with limited resources to save a significant amount of time and money.
